How to Import Bookmarks from other Browsers into Chrome browser?
Click three dots … on top right corner of screen in Chrome browser → Bookmarks → Import Bookmarks and Settings.
Just click on ‘Import Bookmarks and Settings’ option and a dialog box will appear. Select the target browser such as Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, or Bookmarks HTML File, check the box and hit ‘Import’ option.
In this way, you can easily import bookmarks, favorites, or saved links from any other web browser into Chrome browser.
Export Bookmarks through HTML Document file from One Chrome Profile and Import to Another Chrome Profile
I have two Chrome profiles in my computer for personal and business use.
To import bookmarks from personal profile of Chrome in your computer, first export Bookmarks from personal Chrome.
Click three dots … → Bookmarks → Bookmark Manager → Three Dots on top right → Export Bookmarks → Save HTML document in PC.
Now open new professional Chrome profile. Click three dots … → Bookmarks → Import Bookmarks and Settings → Select ‘Bookmarks HTML file’ → Choose file from computer (you saved earlier).
You are done. Your bookmarks and settings are ready to use in new profile of Chrome. You can follow same process to import bookmarks from other browsers such as Microsoft Edge.
Pro Tip: To create an additional Chrome profile in your computer, click profile picture and select Add and follow the process.
Transfer Bookmarks from One Device to Another
To transfer bookmarks from one computer to another, insert a USB memory device in first computer. In downloads folder right-click and send bookmarks file to USB storage device. Now insert USB device in second computer and import bookmarks into Chrome of new device.
If you are using same google account for Chrome mobile, you do not need to transfer the bookmarks. You can simply click profile image in PC and select sync option to see same bookmarks on mobile phone.
How to Show Same Bookmarks on Computer and Mobile Phone?
Click on your profile picture in top right corner of Chrome screen and select the Sync icon.
Here, you can turn ON or OFF the sync feature across your devices. After you turn the ‘Sync’ ON, you will be able to use same bookmarks and passwords on your computer as well as mobile device.
