Creating Clickable Social Media Links on Your Facebook Page Introduction

The URL of your YouTube channel on Facebook ‘About’ section does not clicks.
LinkedIn account URL cannot be clicked when added in the about section on your Facebook page.
Follow the instructions below to solve the issue.
Create Clickable URLs of Social Media on Facebook Page
I faced the same problem. The URL handle of Instagram and Twitter (X) were working fine in the Intro of my Facebook page but the URLs of YouTube and LinkedIn were working. I have explained the easy solution with social media links of Dozro.
To change social media URLs in Facebook, select the About section of your page and then click pencil ✏ icon next to the “Websites and Social Links” option.
Link YouTube Channel Handle URL to Facebook
To add the link of your YouTube channel URL or YouTube handle to your Facebook, do not put ‘@’ symbol before the handle.
Example
☒ https://www.youtube.com/@dozro is the wrong way - Although it is the proper YouTube handle for our channel but it will not work in Facebook.
☑ So, the correct way is to just write your YouTube handle without the ‘@’ symbol and without full URL link. So, in our case, I would write just the ‘dozro’ in Facebook. You can visit Dozro Facebook page, to learn how I have added the social links.
Pro Tip: To check your correct YouTube handle, in YouTube Studio, select ‘Customization’ and then select the ‘Basic info’ option.
Note: On the internet, some people have suggested adding a “+” sign before the handle but remember that it will not work when Facebook is opened on desktop browser.
Add URL Link of LinkedIn to Facebook Page
☒ https://www.linkedin.com/in/dozro/ is the wrong way - Although it is the proper LinkedIn URL of my profile account but it will not be clickable in Facebook page.
☑ So, the correct way is to just write your LinkedIn unique handle without the full URL link. So, in our case, I would write just the ‘dozro’ in Facebook.
Add URL Link of Instagram to Facebook
☑ https://www.instagram.com/dozro.com.official/ is our Instagram URL and you can just paste it in Facebook page and it will work. In fact, Facebook will automatically truncate the initial URL for correction.
☑ However, the correct way is to just write your Instagram unique handle without the full URL link. So, in our case, I would write just the ‘dozro.com.official’ in ‘Add a social link’ field on Facebook.
Connect TikTok Account Handle URL to Facebook Page
To add the link of your TikTok URL or TikTok handle to your Facebook, do not put ‘@’ symbol before the handle.
Example
☒ https://www.tiktok.com/@dozro is the wrong way - Although it is the proper TikTok handle for our channel but it will not work in Facebook.
☑ So, the correct way is to just write your TikTok handle without the ‘@’ symbol and without full URL link. So, in our case, I would write just the ‘dozro’ in Facebook for correct linking of Facebook.
Connect WhatsApp to Facebook Page
For example, using the full URL of your WhatsApp (e.g., https://wa.me/923325577733) will not function correctly on your Facebook page. To ensure proper formatting, include only your phone number with the country code (e.g., 923325577733) to link WhatsApp correctly to your Facebook page in the About section.
Link other Social Media URLs to Facebook Page
With the same method as mentioned above, you can link any social media platform to Facebook and your link will become blue or clickable.
For example, our Twitter URL is https://twitter.com/dozrocom but I will just add ‘dozrocom’ handle for the successful hyperlink in Facebook about section.
Method to Hyperlink a Short URL in Facebook Posts
If the link of URL shortener service (such as Bitly) does not becomes blue, you may try adding the URL in new line. For example:

Add Link
In other words, first, add your text, then press Enter on keyboard, and then paste the short URL in the next line.
